We are a couple based in Seattle, making the most of the wonderful Pacific Northwest wine scene. Living in a 470 square foot apartment, we found ourselves with too many bottles (stashed under the bed, tucked into closet corners). We needed a simple way to track what we had.

So, we built Vinothèque for ourselves: one software engineer with over 10 years of experience making apps, and one PhD researcher providing creative direction and operational synergy (whatever that means). Once we had something that worked for us, we wanted to share it with others who might be in the same boat.
